Changing

Guess what happened, I saw Jim and Rachel today! We were driving to the Salt Lake Temple, and they were in the car next to us waiting for a light! I got to say hi to them, it was weird, but great :D first time I've seen my family on my mission, it's pretty impressive.

Here is a list of things that have changed about me on the mission that are hard to believe:

1. I eat an avocado every other day, they are so good! (note from Lori: she did not like them at all before her mission.)

2. I love spicy food!

3. I ate a green bell pepper the other day, and it was really good, I may  buy some today

4. I sang in sacrament with my comp. It was rough, but I did it.  (Emily would hardly ever even sing with the choir, let alone a duet).

5. I sing around the apartment all the time, I think Hermana West hates it... oh well!

6. I can make really good beans! Like, really good! (my Mexican comp liked them so yeah)

7. I would rather wear a skirt/dress than pants (so sad)

8. I now realize that 1 hour of studying is nothing, it's not enough!

9. I thank God every day for the amazing family that He has given me, and for the love that I have for them. 

There is no greater work than this, I have never been so happy, and I will never be the same.
